Founded in 2003, JY6 Singapore was first known as Joey 新港 Fan Club. In 2006 the club underwent major restructuring and was relaunched as Joey Alliance Singapore (JAS).

JAS has established itself as the voice for Joey Yung in Singapore over the years,. Geared towards the promotion of Joey Yung and her music in Singapore, JAS has actively immersed itself in many activities, to keep Joey Yung and her fan club in the limelight.

JAS merged into JY6 Joey Yung International Fan Club on June 8th 2008 at the behest of Joey herself. This was in line with Joey’s efforts to bring all her various multi fan clubs over the world under one singular name and seamless management.

JAS was officially renamed JY6 Joey Yung International Fan Club (Singapore) or JY6 Singapore on July 1st 2008. Despite the name change, the motto of the club [我們的驕傲，就是祖兒] does not change. Management of JY6 Singapore remains independent and yet works closely with JY6 International in achieving its objectives.

Miss Joey Yung has played a pivotal role in providing guidance and support all these years for the club and the club is indebted to her for that. She is the source of our motivation and remains the sole reason for the continued existence of the club.
