繼上一張大碟《Nin9 2 5ive》行性感路線，容祖兒(Joey)在全新廣東專輯《Give Love A Break》中返璞歸真，改以大自然及田園感為主。至於唱片封面則是專誠到青島拍攝的。唱片中除收錄第一熱播主打情歌，由徐繼宗作曲、黃偉文填詞的「分身術」，其他的如「16號愛人」、「蜃樓」，繼續貫徹Joey的悲情歌路。另有Joey主演電影《身驕肉貴》同名主題曲「身驕肉貴」，及多首純音樂抒情歌曲。

As the youngest winner of the Most Popular Female Singer award last year, Joey has moved into sexier clothes and wilder makeup while continuing to excel in singing heart-breaking ballads. The 18-track album weaves instrumentals between karaoke-friendly tunes, which include Mirage (Track 11), Split Body Magic (Track 13), Lover Number 16 (Track 3) and also the theme song to movie The Attractive One (Track 18).

Joey breathes sorrow and soul into renowned DJ and lyrist Wyman's words in Split Body Magic (Track 13), where a girl gets illusions of seeing the face of her ex on everyone – or perhaps he really does know "split body magic" and keeps showing up everywhere around her! Carrying over the same sympathetic tone to Lover Number 16 (Track 3), Joey sings out the story of an ill-fated lover who used to be No. 1 on the most beloved list of girlfriends, but soon gets disregarded to only becoming the 16th place lover.
